After upgrading Windows 10 x64 to new version Windows 10 1703, pairing Blueototh devices stopped to work. Bluetooth seems to have disappeared from most places – Bluetooth icon is missing in system tray, Bluetooth device is missing in Device Manager and Bluetooth & other devices, under Devices in Settings. Before that, Bluetooth device and pairing procedure worked without any problems. All devices which have integrated Bluetooth can have a problem with pairing with Blutooth device in Windows 10. It can be a problem with bluetooth speaker, bluetooth mouse, smartwatch or other bluetooth device. One of issues users are having is problem with Bluetooth devices on gaming notebook Acer VX 15 with specification as following:

Display 15.6”Intel Core i7-7700HQ 2.80GHzNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 VR Ready16GB DDR4-2400 RAM512GB Solid State Drive

Solution which solved this issue and which we are recommending to you is to do System Restore. Before we describe System Restore we will explain what’s purpose of it. System Restore is feature integrated in Windows operating system which allow you to revert your Windows to previous state, when everything worked good, without any problems. It does that by creating restore points. Restore points are snapshots of Windows, including system files, applications, registry changes, drivers and Windows update. Please note that System Restore needs to be enabled on your machine. To check is your System restore enabled on your devices, please do next steps: Please do not close this window, because in next step we will explain you how to revert your machine to previous state, before instaling update, when your Windows 10 worked without problems. After System Restore, you need to check is your Bluetooth device available in Device Manager and Bluetooth & other devices under Devices in Settings. Also try to pair your Bluetooth devices with your notebook.
