There is an update on the situation, as reported by Insider Gaming, they have received leaked images privately from the Call of Duty data miner CODSploitzlmgz which shows players riding on the ATVs in a new football stadium-styled map, and the objective of the game mode is to score a goal in your opponent’s goal post by hitting a giant ball while you are on your vehicle. Sounds familiar? Yes, this new game mode is apparently inspired by the popular vehicle soccer video game by Epic Games, Rocket League. In Rocket League, the objective is similar to this new Call of Duty game mode where a minimum 1 player or maximum 3 players on each side try to score a goal in their opponents’ goal post. This alleged game is reported to be called ‘CODball’. A unique map and stadium can be seen in the leaked images (we cannot show the leaked images here due to copyright issues), which are believed to be developed especially for this new game mode and will be limited to this mode only and might not be available to play in regular multiplayer matches. The exciting thing revealed by the leaked images is that the CODball will feature the Football Superstars that were leaked previously. Messi, Neymar and Pogba will join the Call of Duty football stadium as operators and they will be playable in CODball. However, it is unclear whether the football operators will be limited to this mode, like the stadium and map, or you can jump with them in a multiplayer match (that would be interesting, though). A video shared with Insider Gaming also showcases the gameplay, which features players driving around a bright football stadium and hitting a giant ball in order to score a goal. It is believed that CODball and football superstars joining Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 are a part of the World Cup celebrations this year. As confirmed by Insider Gaming, Neymar will come to the game on November 21, Pogba on November 25, and Messi on November 29. And CODball will most probably go live after Neymar joins the game on November 21. However, no details about the game mode are officially revealed yet, and tiny bits regarding the game mode, like the player count on each team, and other gameplay details, are still unknown. We will keep you posted upon receiving any further information about CODball. So, what are your thoughts about this new game mode coming to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2? Are you excited to play it?
