— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) October 10, 2022 Twitter users instantly spotted a white item on Spencer’s top shelf that seemed somewhat odd. This device is believed to be the next game-streaming hardware for Xbox. Codenamed ‘Keystone,’ the device will enable players to stream Xbox games to TVs or monitors without needing a console. This little teaser might be Spencer’s way of hinting at the mystery device, or it could be nothing at all. Even yet, Phil has been known to do this act before. For instance, before the unveiling of the Xbox Series S, the console was discreetly placed in the backdrop of several promotional videos. Many journalists, however, claim that the little white box’s image accurately represents the product. It is expected that Microsoft’s Project Keystone will be a device that can be connected to a television and used to access the Xbox Cloud Gaming service offered by the company. Additionally, it may be able to handle Netflix and other entertainment services too. The company released a statement in May explaining that it had to reevaluate the Keystone project. Although the photo of Phil Spencer showcasing the device doesn’t disclose much, we may assume that its release is imminent. We will just have to wait for the announcement to find out more about what the company has in its bag.
